Roasted Lamb Osso Bucco with a Chianti Lamb Jus & Citrus Mint Gremolata Pancetta Sage Polenta, and Parmesan Crisp - $22.95
Slow roasted lamb shank with a Chianti laced lamb jus reduction. With green chile polenta and fennel relish made with diced fennel, sun dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and celery.

This was the first time I've had "lamb shank." I've always been a fan of lamb rack dishes, but I didn't know what "tender lamb" meant until I tried this lamb shank at Castle Hill Cafe. Even the most tender of lamb rack chops don't even come close to how soft and tender this lamb shank meat was.

It was the most tender lamb I have ever had - really delicious. Plenty of fat innervating the meat. Sauce was great. Polenta was nice and matched well with the sauce.

I'm not really much of a "food writer" so that's all I've got. If you really enjoy lamb, I highly suggest trying this dish at castle hill cafe. Good luck.
