Not good. Started out well enough with a basket of nicely greasy chips and fresh-tasting (though kinda pureed) salsa. Ordered a couple of lime margs only to find the rims caked in table salt and the (cheap white) tequila drowning in acid-green, nasty barmix. Eeeeewww. Left both of those unfinished- it wasn't like we were wasting good booze. My bean burrito was 85% cheese inside and out though I specifically asked for very little cheese. There was a nice subtle chipotle flavour at first but the cheese did that in quickly. My date's chicken mole enchiladas had a bitterness that was most unpleasant. Both came with a forgettable salad/slaw and rice that seemed to be accented with frozen vegetables. The service was ok and the place was busy enough but we couldn't wait to get out of there. Too bad- we live in Gastown and had hoped to find an addition to our list of neighbourhood restaurants (presently numbering all of two) that are actually decent.
