Kumo- new Japanese in Park Slope

Big mistake. They left a takeout menu in our lobby and I was feeling especially lazy so I decided to try it. I probably wouldn't have, but they were offering a 30% off your meal special for the grand opening. Gross. I ordered the basic sushi set and fancy roll and my wife had the chicken udon. Perhaps the worst sushi I have ever tasted. We were expecting udon soup, but it was udon noodles stir fried with chicken, which is fine. Completely flavorless. Later, we were walking down 7th Ave and looked for the restaurant, but couldn't find it. Turns out they are sharing a space with/are the same people as Tofu, with just the Kumo menu in the window. That's what I get for trying something other than Taro.
