kum ryong- the new chinese/korean

chowpug | Mar 17, 2004 08:33 PM

just went to kum ryong
which is a new chinese/korean restaurant
that replaced sang choon
the old chinese/korean restaurant.
as a huge fan
of chachamyung and champong...
i have to report
that the brown sauce
and the seafood noodle soup
of the new place
pales in comparison to sang choon
or other flushing korean/chinese eats.
i found the brown sauce rather runny
and tepid in flavour.
the seafood noodle soup
was not as spicy as i'd like
and the soup lacked the depth of flavour
and heaviness of a real good bowl.
oh well.
