Do Koreans Make BBQ Chicken?

This thought was spurred by a similar question about Italian chicken.

Almost all the Korean places I know offer kal-bi, bulgogi, as well as "bbq chicken." When I lived in Seoul a number of years ago, I don't remember seeing bbq chicken served anywhere, and I am not talking about "western" tomato based bbq sauce - but the soy based sauces similar to the marinades for bulgogi. Come to think of it, I dont remember seeing meat jun there either. Are either of these dishes "traditional" or are they American additions to Korean food?
