In the course of our discussion of O-Dae San (a very attractive Korean sushi/sashimi restaurant on Olympic east of Normandie), Porky Yorky commented that
"all of the korean-sushi restaurants serve sashimi this way-- kind of like a 7-10 course meal with one course being a huge plate of sashimi. there are so many korean-sushi restaurants in k-town, too."
Well, given the stellar reviews that O-Dae San received from those who've tried it (including my wife and me, after we tried and loved it this`weekend), we'd sure love to know about the others.
Porky Yorky mentioned two others:
--"one in the NW corner of Wilton and Wilshire" (he didn't remember the name) and
--"one on the second floor of the AROMA building located on SE corner of Wilshire and Serrano (Otoya sushi, i think)"
--And in a thread from early March, Jerome, Dbird, and jgold, Chow-nobles all, mentioned another place called Bu San, on Western (although Mr. Gold cast his vote for O-Dae San as "pre-eminent seafood house in Koreatown").
Is this the consensus short list? Or are there others that we should all start checking out?
