A few years ago, I ended up a couple of time with some friends at a Korean restaurant that was FANTASTIC -- but of course, I can't remember the name to save my life. All I can remember is that it was really far north on California (maybe even 6000 N.), on the west side of the street, and it was in a small strip-mall that also had a karaoke place in it. It was a small place (one small main dining room) that had private rooms lining the sides - you stepped up into them after removing shoes, and sat on the heated floor around the table w/barbeque in the middle. Very limited English as I recall. Really great food.
Does anyone know the place I'm talking about?
Also, does anyone know how to say, "I'm allergic to oysters" in Korean (last time I went, I must have inadvertently eaten something with oysters in it, and suffered the side effects, which I'd like to avoid this time).
