Just had dim sum there today. This is my second trip and I think they must have the most varity of dim sum items in all of bay area. My friend and I were determined to try only unusual items. So we passed on all the dim sum regulars like shrimp dumplings, shui mais, stuffed eggplant, bbq buns etc.
We ordered a small bowl of turnip cake/pudding thing, with dried shrimp and Chinese ham. This item reminds me of a Taiwanese small eat that is ground rice steamed in a bowl. The flavor was intense with turnip, although slightly on the salty side. We also had fried taro filled with shrimp and scallop, unagi in puff pastry, fried shrimp and banana in rice sheets, vegetarian tofu rolls, tofu pudding and sesame balls. Everything except the shrimp and banana item was really well prepared. Even though we passed on so many common dish, there was still so many we didn't get to try.
For the two of us it was $41 including tip and tax.
