Kavkaz? piroshky

Does anyone remember a russian restaurant that sold "piroshky" (I think) to go? They were made with a yeast dough (which had a golden cast) and a meat filling and were about 6-7" long. Wonderful...but the restaurant closed (we're talking 20 years ago at least) and I have no idea where something like this could be found today.
