We took two other couples out to dinner to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary last night to Josie. Out of six reviews after dinner Josie's food scored rave reviews from everyone.
Two had the prime rib steak, two had the striped bass, one had the jidori chicken and I had the short ribs tangine.
The only small glitch was that my fig and goat cheese tart didn't show up and when I told the waitress that is was okay, I really didn't need it, she ended up bringing it anyway and taking it off the check.
Along with the overall quality and care taken with the food here the service was so seamless, friendly and professional it really makes for a stress free and highly enjoyable night out.
I had the chocolate bread souffle for dessert and it is the best dessert I have had out at any of the top flight restaurants in town.
This is a destination of choice for us for special nights out and the for a lot of other folks too as the place was jumping right from our early 6:15 P.M. reservation and as we were leaving about 9 it was still going strong.
Because my business partner had dropped off two bottles of champagne earlier in the day to surprise us the final tab was only $315, plus tip including my wife's after dinner Mexican coffee, my glass of wine and some coffee's, etc.
The amuse was the quiche and everyone loved it at our table.
Great food, company and service. That's a night to remember.
