My transliteration might not be adequate...but ja lurng is the rice noodle roll wrapped around the Chinese salty donut.
Some dim sum and congee places in the Bay do ja lurng pretty well.
Hing Lung in SF Chinatown, for example. But in Hong Kong, it's always served with the sesame sauce and hoisin sauce as well as the sweet soy sauce used for normal rice noodle rolls, why don't many places do that here?
The few places I've had it are at Koi Palace and Fat Wong's Kitchen. Are there others?
