We're planning to come to the Philadelphia area for 4 days (the weekend after this one). We may very well only have a crack at an Italian dinner. After all there's Jewish deli, hoagies, steak subs, coffee houses, exploring how New Jersey Asian compares to Californian (and oh yeah, seeing our relatives).
My wife's brother, who lives in South Jersey, claims that the Italian food is cheaper and better in Cherry Hill than in Philadelphia. Do you agree? Either location is OK, we'll be staying in Mount Airy and Center City but will have a car and will be visiting in Cherry Hill.
We're willing to spend a substantial but not unlimited amount of money on this (once entrees push much past $20 we get nervous). We may or may not have a moderately well-behaved 8 year old girl with us. I guess we're looking for something between buckets of red sauce and the finest dining.
