P. has a lenten traditoin of having a Filet-o-Fish on the friday of his birthday, this occassion happened last week... He looks forward to it every year, so I asked him innocently how his meal was... I almost lost my head... Condensed rants follow:

They raised the price! Last Year it was a dollar, this year it's a $1.29

The fish was COLD

The Cheese was not MELTED. And it was only 1/2 a slice!!!

A grumbing tirade continued for the next 15 minutes (including how a great monologue on how much a WHOLE slice of 'McCheese', which probably isn't real cheese anyway, really does cost).

Yeah, it was pretty funny to witness... LOL! But I told him, that is why we thank *deity* for the hounds and that next year, up until his birthday, we'll make it a mission to find himself a good a new fishwich...

So, I have already knocked Cap'n Kidds in Redondo beach out (The last time I went the place was VILE), but are open to any other suggestions including fast food ones...
