Does anyone know of a place like Pine State Biscuit with a serious dedication to Biscuits & Gravy in the East Bay?
Pine State has fluffy, rich cream top buttermilk biscuits & a phenomenal pork gravy that they top with a shake of cayenne & splash of chives.
mmm-mmm. Might be the best I have ever had.
They also make some fun sandwich biscuits with fried chicken, honey, mustard & pickle and a heart attack type breakfast sandwich with cheese, egg & sausage. In a nod to non meat eaters they do a Shitake gravy too.
Picture really doesn't do it justice, it was less flat looking in real life. Fist sized and fantastic.
