We went here on Sunday for Brunch. Near our hotel, open early, inexpensive.
I wouldn't recommend it highly.
Theoretically it was open at 10 am. We got there just at 10, but the doors were locked. We could see some people inside, and so used the cell phone to call and ask if they were really open. It took them another 5-10 minutes to find a key and open the door. "Sorry, we lost the key."
There is an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, fruit, scones, bagels, pasta, salad, cobbler for $4.95. (I think it also includes a "Make-your-own" bloody Mary station, no doubt you would pay extra to put alcohol into it :) For an additional $3 you can order one of several fuller breakfasts (eggs benedict, pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc - each is complete with "no substitutions").
They didn't seem to have their act together. We had to ask for sweet-n-low, find utensils to serve several items on the buffet, ask them to take extra dishes away. The orange juice was exceedingly watery and in a glass filled with ice. My guess was 6 oz juice, 10 oz ice. They also had all the coffee in orange-topped pots, so I was unsure whether I was getting decaf or regular. They assured me "oh this one is regular" but a minute later they came back with the decaf, and of course, the pots looked exactly the same - "oh yes, this is decaf."
The scrambled eggs benedict were ok, but the sauce was not hollandaise as listed, it was some version of cheese. Or very cheesy hollandaise? The pancakes were definitely made from Bisquik mix, and the breakfast pie had far too many potatoes in it. It's a shame, because there was good stuff in the pie, it had a nice flavor, but there were so many potatoes! It could have been half the size, and still been enough food, they could just have left out most of the potatoes. The rest was onion, green pepper, ham, sausage in a tasty crust.
My review sounds so cranky, but I guess we were kind of expecting a bit more. Starting off cooling our heels (literally) outside for 10 minutes while they hunted the key to unlock the door started us off on a really sour note. Then it just sort of fell downhill from there.
There were people in the bar having Guinness, they looked like they were having a good time :)
