Irish Channel Pub review

My wife and I stopped in for dinner last night around 9. I got a Sante Fe chicken wrap w/ chips. The wrap itself wasn't bad, came with an ample side of guacamole and was pretty happy with the quality, value, etc.
My wife got an order of wings and a caesar salad. She said the wings weren't crispy like she likes tham but finished them. She sent back the salad because she didn't think it was $8 worth and the dressing was watery. She exchanged it for a crispy chicken salad with some not so fresh looking vegetables. It wasn't her favorite either.
All in all with a beer and a marguerita it came to $40 before tip.
A friend winds up there often and likes the chicken sandwich but otherwise isn't too keen on the place.
I thought the wait staff was adequate.
Is it not a salad place or should we only get beers and typical bar food?

thanks.
