A number of us in Philly are getting together to eat at the International Smokeless BBQ at 6th and Washington Avenue on Thursday March 27th at 7:00pm. This is a small dining group we formed on AOL years ago and periodically get together. I decided to see if anyone else would like to join us that night. The plan is to order both the Barbeque and the Hot Pot and a noodle dish. The barbeque and hotpot use similar principle. For the hotpot they bring you a pot with hot liquid and raw seafood and and veggies and you cook it. At the base of the pot are gas burners on which you grill various meats, poultry, seafood and veggies. 2-3 people share each pot and the noodles. There is also a SMALL salad bar. And there is LOTS of food. Based on previous visits, the cost comes to about $15.00 without beverages. They have a liquor license. Iím not sure if it is smoke free but, even though Iím a non-smoker, I wasnít bothered.

Here is the URL for the restaurant:

Anyway, if you are interested in joining us, please email me OFF the list at Stevenramm@aol.com by tomorrow night (Friday) and Iíll add you to the group. Singles and couples are welcome.

Otherwise, I still recommend you check it out. I posted a report after dining there a month or so ago.

Steve
