am heading up for a friend's wedding in a few months.. and am in charge of a slightly impromptu, bachelorette party on a thursday night.
now when I say bachelorette party, this is for an over 30 crowd, so nothing too wild. I am really looking for a kind of tame place for a small group of 5-10 ladies to get together, have a nice dinner and a few drinks. this is one of the last of our group of friends to get married and a lot of the ladies have to go home to their kids. so it will be an early night. so I'm thinking tapas or appetizers for grazing and a place that won't mind us lingering. I'm hoping someone has an idea...otherwise we'll end up at chili's or some equally awful place.
price isn't so much of an option as everyone will be going dutch for the most part, but still want to keep things reasonable. oh yeah, and I'd like to be able to get a decent drink (grey goose martini for example) the rest will probably want to drink coronas or coors light. blech!
