Ok, I know there has been more than one thread on this joint. I will be brief, but suffice it to say that this was definately the worst price to quality/value I have ever experienced.
The antipasti that the served it stuff that most of us probably have at home. ie. Salumi,Parmigano, garlic bread/toast.
We had the Sea Bream special and the Langoustino special which were merely ok. One order of Spaghetti with Bolognese was over salted with box pasta.(not fresh) A better versions is available at Penne Pomodoro for $12.00 vs.$27.95 for noodles and meat sauce.
Cesar and Arugala w/Bresola was ok at best.
The defining moments were: I asked the waiter for a cheese plate for dessert and he came back from the kitchen and said that the chef did not have the ingredients to make one. Huh? Secondly, I heard "that's Amore" played three times in 2 hrs over the sound system.
It was half full on Friday night. It don't look good for the joint. The worst thing? 4 people, 4 glasses of Cliquot,2 mid-priced bottles of wine with tip = $700.00. I've eaten at many Mich. 3 star for less. Man, it was comical.
