I'm hunting for a specific store-bought harissa (aka North African pepper relish): Mustapha's Moroccan Harissa. It comes in a jar and is rather expensive - $7 or $8, but is well worth the money. See this link for a picture of the label:
This version of red-peppery delight contains bits of preserved lemon, and is positively addictive - it's great with grilled meats, or just as a dip for carrot sticks. I bought two jars at the Wedge last December, and am just finishing the second one now. Sadly, the Wedge doesn't currently have any - it was a holiday splurge item, I think.
Has anyone seen this brand of harissa in the Twin Cities? I can order it online from Seattle, but I'd rather buy it in person if I can.
