Looking for humanely priced ramen? Help may be on the way with Raijin Kitchen on Taraval [San Francisco]

If you are irked at paying $12 and up for a bowl of ramen (compared to $7-$8 for a great bowl of pho or hand-pulled Chinese noodles), Taraval St. may hold the answer. The Parkside has always been a haven for cheap Asian eats, and now comes Raijin Kitchen which only charges $7-$8 for a dinner-size bowl of ramen. I've only tried the fatty eponymous Raijin Ramen (because it was the house special -- I'm not a big tonkotsu fan) but plan to check out the other offerings. They also offer a selection of Japanese curry plates.
