My wife and I will be spending a quick four days in Paris at the end of April. We have been there before and love the Parisian heart and soul.
Since this is such a short trip for us (coming from New York) we are looking for a bit of help. Life in New York is so often about trends or what's "in" at the moment. What we love about Paris is the cultural dedication to quality and passion. I would love to hear from others where they feel these qualities continue to thrive. What bistros truly embody this? What is that truly special boulangerie that one should visit at least once? What favorite food related store just stands out so much that you think about it in idle moments? Not the latest and most talked about... Not the best reviewed and most revered. Where are the places that speak to you, that make a difference in your life and that you feel are quintessential, culinary Paris? So much of what Paris is so much about.
