Historic LA Taco Trucks of 3rd St. Question

When I first moved to LA in 1980, I lived just across the 110 west of downtown, close to 3rd and Lucas, on the corner of which were the old Yellow Cab garage and Gibby's Liquors, home of "distressed liquor" (which had been through fire/flood/whatever, and could be had for pennies on the dollar--hic!). Just a little further west down 3rd, on the northeast corner of 3rd and Witmer, was--snif!--My First Taco Truck. I can't for the life of me remember its name--possibly "Antojitos Something-Or-Other"--but I do remember, with a palpable longing, its tacos. Carne asada whose equal I have yet to find (and I've spent lots of time trying), with a wonderful charbroiled taste...and ohmigod, when folded into a torta, simply phenomenal.

Anyway. The truck was there nightly, in front of the small grocery store on the corner, next to the neighborhood laundromat. I moved away in 1982, and when I came back for a fix some months later, the truck was gone...probably a victim of the mariscos shack that moved in behind where it used to park.

Is there a Hound in the house who also remembers? And, more to the point, anyone who might know where the truck relocated to? Could my beloved truck possibly STILL BE ALIVE...???
