High Holy Days are awfully early this year

I can't really bear the thought of making brisket, so I wanted to make a robust salad - maybe squash - and roast chicken or fish. Food for the holidays is always so much heavier than we eat the rest of the year. Any one have any ideas for a light-ish meal which would still feel like Rosh Hashanah?
