Hey pam h, butterfly and Joe H., I need your help again!

Hi guys,
You may remember me from last Valentine's Day. I wrote about my crisis when my Valentine's plan to take my new girlfriend to "Rent" fell through and I needed emergency help with a dinner plan. You (as well as many other posters) were extremely supportive and offered great suggestions (I followed much of the script pam proposed) and I wanted to get your advice again on what I could do for a first dating anniversary dinner/weekend with my girl at the end of January.

To fill you in, I'm still very much with her, and everything's terrific--actually started shopping for rings over Christmas and may make a purchase very soon. In the meantime, I want to do something to surprise her for our anniversary. It's actually the day before her birthday, so I want to make a weekend of it, but I'm not that creative! Any thoughts? Anywhere fun to go that won't break the bank? My first thought a few weeks ago when I started planning was Inn at Little Washington, but I checked into it and that's WAY out of my league. Maybe a spa? Another great inn that just doesn't have Little Washington's name?

Whatever you (or anyone else) could suggest would be as appreciated as ever. And as we come up on one year since your Valentine's advice for me, I do want to take a minute to thank you again for giving me such terrific suggestions that genuinely helped us to have one of the truly magical evenings in our relationship so far. We actually talk about it from time to time and both still agree that it was just about perfect. All the more reason why I don't want to try duplicate it and instead want to come up with something new but equally fun that we can do.

Thanks in advance for your advice!
