After seeing their herbs at various farmers' markets around the city, I inquired about the dining room at the Herb Lyceum in Groton.
I first went in July and have gone three times since.
They do a 5-course prix fixe for $50 (including tip) that doesn't allow for choices and is the same for an entire month. I've had a few misses, but overall the food has been on par with or better than most very good restaurants in the city. The dining room is communal tables and in a gorgeous old barn with dried herbs hanging all around. It's also BYOB, so it makes for a great value.
There are two chefs, one is the son of the owners, who cooks at Oleana during the week, and the other is the former corporate chef at Legal's.
Has anyone else gone? I've been told that a large percentage of their clients are from the city. I want to know about other hounds' experiences/thoughts.
The link to their website is below.
