Haveli, a nice east village indian place

Based on recs from this board, we tried Haveli for dinner and all 3 of us, even one who doesn't like indian food, were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and well-prepared, although the spice level was not very high (which is what some posters here seem to want at Mina's/Agnon). None of us felt headaches or any kind of intestinal distress, and all of us are looking forward to a return visit. The decor is nicer than the standard lower priced Indian restaurant, and the service was adequate, if a little slow. Including tip, the price was $28 pp, with plenty of food left over.
