Harris or Arcadia?

The hubby wants steak for his birthday, either in SF (near his workplace) or south bay (near mine) and I'm torn between these two places that we haven't tried.

I was drawn to Arcadia since I loved Michael Mina's restaurant, and I like how it seems more modern than Harris, which seems pretty old-school. However, we do want to go somewhere "nice" that's suitable for a special occasion and I'm wondering if it's too casual.

These restaurants are already crossed off our list:
- Alexander's - been there before and wasn't blown away, considering it was the most $$$ we ever spent for steak
- Epic Roasthouse - Seemed more about the view than the food. Hubby thinks it's "too trendy"
- House of Prime Rib - love it, but been here too many times
- Ruth's Chris - like HOPR, good but we're looking to try someplace new

Anyone eaten at both Harris and Arcadia and have an opinion? Or any other suggestions aside from the above?
