What am amazing place this is! Located in the Ledson Hotel, right on the plaza, this is divine elegance in the Sonoma area. The restaurant actually doubles as a lobby for the hotel which has six individually decorated rooms and the Harmony Club wine bar and restaurant cover the entire ground floor.
The dishes are fine china and Reed & Barton silver is the flatware, very beautifully dressed tables and there was a piano player which also sang soothing songs during dinner that made the ambiance very nice.
We started with the Butter Lettuce salad with Pt. Reyes Blue Chees & Bose Pears wtih a Hazelnut-Muscat Vinaigrtette. Very, very good and they split the salad for us which was very nice.
For our wines, we did a couple of 2oz. pours of the Ledson "Old Vines" Zin and the Pinot Noir which were both excellent.
For my entree I had the Rabbit Raviolis that were excellent, served in a white-wine broth. You will see a lot of rabbit items on the menus in this area and I had to try it.
My husband had the Pan Roasted Chicken Breast with Calamari, Caggiano's Sausage & Spanish Rice that we said was one of the best chicken dishes he had tasted in a long time. Very, very pleased with his choice.
Service was impeccable, professional and very attentive. For desset we chose a baked apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream that was excellent. The Strawberry Tart with Champagne Sabayon also sounded very good.
I would highly recommend a meal at this elegant, wonderful gem located right on the Plaza in Sonoma Square. After our meal we were given a tour of the hotel and the rooms were beautiful. They go for around $400/night tho which is just a bit pricey! Cheers! www.ledsonhotel.com
