I checked out the new location of the vegetarian Chinese restaurant Happy Family on Atlantic and Garvey. Nice enough space and, even with the Empress Harbor crowds, easy parking.
I went alone. Going solo seems to make the all-you-can-eat option something of a waste - at least, wasted food. So, I ordered a fake meat dish - actually it was a fake fish dish. And while the food was very good, it was essentially fake meat and sauce. No vegetables at all save for some small celery cubes used as garnish.
Does anyone eat alone at this place? If so, what do you do to get more balance into the meal?
