When I was visiting Guilin, China everybody ate the same kind of noodles for breakfast. A little thicker than scallions topped with pork, peanuts and scallions with a whole variety of condiments to put on.

I've never been able to find them in L.A., how about NYC. I expect I'd have to pay more than the 15 cents they were in China.
