Which West LA Italian restaurant is better, Guido's (off of Santa Monica) or Matteo's (off of Westwood)? I am a big fan of Guido's having been there for many of dinners, but I have never been to Matteo's.
I have heard very good things about Matteo's and have wanted to go there, just haven't had the chance yet. I have family coming to town this weekend and they haven't been to either restaurant yet. I'm afraid to go to Matteo's with them if I haven't been there before, but at the same time, it seems like a good enough place for me to take them so we can all try it for the first time.
I would love to read any feedback and opinions about these two restaurants and which one is favored over the other.
