So my future mother-in-law gave me a Cuisinart Griddler for Christmas and we used it for the first time last night. I know it was only around $129 at Amazon, and I was so impressed with the quality. It is basically built like a sandwich press or George Foreman grill, but it has a fairly wide cooking surface and interchangeable flat or grill plates that are nonstick. The best thing is that it opens flat so you can use it as an open-faced grill or griddle. Also, there are different heat settings.
I made grilled tuna and it turned out beautifully.
Then, coincidentally, I was watching an epiosde of Kitchen Accomplished while eating the aforementioned grilled tuna, and Cat used one in the kitchen they were working on!
