He also named Bonne Soiree Restaurant of the Year.
I don't eat in Raleigh/Cary enough to be able to pick nits about a big chunk of his list, but I'm a little surprised to see Tacqueria Mi Pueblo make the only tacqueria appearance. It was The Bomb back when it opened in the mid-90s, but I haven't been by there in ages; given the lack of reference to it here on Chowhound, I'd kind of assumed it had disappeared long ago. Should I go check it out?
And what does it mean that seafood is represented by Fins (natch), Waraji (sure), and then not one but *two* fried-fish joints? (and I'll tell you, I liked Kemps when it opened, but when they switched to table service & the prices & time-to-eat shot through the roof, it lost a lot of its charm)
