After hearing good things about this Chinatown restaurant, and seeing the constant lines to eat there, my wife and I tried it last night.
This was by far the worst meal I have ever had in Chinatown in 20 years. The snow pea shoots in garlic sauce were overcooked, and incredibly salty. The mock duck was acceptable, but drowned in sauce. The shrimp with mushrooms, which we ordered with a white ginger sauce, came in a brown glutonous sauce, and was overcooked.
To top everything else off, the service was rushed and rude. Our waiter coughed on our food, and the bill was close to $30.
