Had another great meal at Brigtsen's. Apps were crawfish "shortcake," which is crawfish etoufee over a black pepper biscuit, lump crabmeat on arugula with heirloom tomatoes, and mirliton stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat. All were excellent. Mains, all great, were stuffed flounder, sauteed flounder and the fabulous roast duck. All entrees were served with yummy mashed potatoes and a melange of green beans and carrots. Service was superb and so down-home friendly -- just the way we remembered it from many prior visits. Still far and away our favorite New Orleans restaurant.
