Great first impression of Bunny Chow (LES South African)

I had tried it before the holidays, but haven't gotten around to posting anything until now.

In brief, it's a great, low-key addition to the neighborhood. The piri-piri prawn appetizer consisted of two enormous shell- (and head-) on prawns in a spicy sauce and were quite delicious. The namesake bunny chow (I had the lamb version) was spicy, flavorful, and more than filling - I'd be shocked if anyone can finish it in one sitting, bread and all. (For those that don't know what bunny chow is, it's a good portion of a loaf of bread hollowed out and stuffed with curry - in this case, lamb, chicken, or shrimp.)

A small but decent by the glass wine list focuses on South Africa and Spain, and the service is warm and friendly. It was dead the night I was there (a frigid Wednesday), but I've seen it busy on weekends.
