On our three-night trip next month, we’ve planned dinners at Jacques-Imos and Brigtsens, and lunches at Napoleon House, Commander’s Palace, Acme and possibly Bayona.
But for one night, we’d like to hop (hopefully not stumble) around some of the Quarter’s finest restaurant bars and sample some great appetizers and small plates, not full meals.
Here’s what I have so far:
Dickie Brennans Steakhouse ($5 drinks and apps)
Hermes Bar (Oysters Rockefeller and Souffleed Potatoes)
Mr. B’s (Gumbo and BBQ Shrimp-do they do a small or half order?)
Arnaud’s French 75 (not sure they serve food?)
Is this a good plan? What am I missing? We're staying at the Roosevelt, so we'd like to stay on foot, and I imagine we'll start or finish at the Sazerac Bar.
