We had brunch at Gravy today in Boerum Hill (Cobble Hill?), which despite the large crowd isn't listed in Zagats or any of the other popular restaurant guides despite the large crowd. Overall we really liked it. The decor was strange in a very cool sense. Sort of Lower East Side meets New Mexico roadside diner. The staff were very friendly and the food was surprisingly good. There were lots of good choices on the menu. I had the biscuits and eggs with gravy and home fries special and my wife had the eggs and kielbasi with rye and home fries special. The whole meal cost under twenty bucks and we were stuffed. I wish we had something more like it in the Slope. I guess Dizzy's has a similar vibe, but the food and prices fall woefully short. I'm curious to hear about other peoples' experiences.
