My husband and I just made the Snow ball cookie from the following receipe:
2 sticks of butter softened
1 cup powdered sugar, divided
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups of flour
1 cup finely chopped pecans
beat butter, vanilla and half powdered sugar until fluffy, then gradually added flour. Added pecans and shaped into 1 inch balls. Baked for about 14 minutes. Rolled in powdered sugar.
They do not taste like grandma's. They are OK. Unfortunately, we did not get Grandma's receipe. I know, shame on us.
But, can you share your receipe? Grandma's were buttery, short and just plain yummy. Ours were not buttery enough and just lacked the texture of Grandma's.
