I heard Grand Sichuan on 9th Ave. and 50th St. closed. The menu is no longer on menupages. Is this true?
If so, I am very sad. I liked it the best, even better than Chelsea or Upper East Side or St. Mark's. I was planning to go there this weekend. My favorites were the fresh sliced pork (towering piles of spicy bacon) and the fresh shredded chicken with green peppers.
But the last time I visited, it seemed to have slipped a bit. I thought maybe they had a new cook.
