Finally got around to purchasing a steak from the Gramercy Meat Market on 2nd Ave bet 22nd and 23rd. Ribeye was absolutely spectacular. Ran me about $18 for close to a 16 oz'er. Cooked it 2 minutes (on each side) in a smoking hot Cast Iron pan and then finished it for 2 minutes in my oven at 375. One of the better steaks I've bought in nyc.
I hated this place when it was the French Butcher(?) - what's the take on the new owner? Is everything
the same quality as the kick ass ribeye I lucked into?
