I am a gourmand and I want New York details.

I, a picky vegetarian from Los Angeles, will spend three days eating in New York City. My plans include visits to the Sullivan Street Bakery, Ecce Panis, Orwasher's Bakery, Columbia Hot Bagels, Bagelry, Bagels on Second, Kossar's Bialys, Bazzini, Balducci's, Dean & Deluca, John's Pizza (on Bleecker), Patsy's Pizza (in Brooklyn), Acker Merrall, 67 Wine, First Avenue Wines, Honmura An, Counter, 69 Mott Street, Vegetarian Dim Sum House, A. J.'s Niota, Hangawi and Joe's Shanghai. I want to solicit comments about all of these places (I include a list of addresses and so on below--please correct and annotate) as well as further recommendations that make sense in the context of taste adumbrated by my list. I rather enjoy dining in fine restaurants and do not mind if they serve meats aplenty, so long as the vegetable food they set before me is delicious and smart. If Le Bernardin offered innovative vegetarian meals, I'd call and beg for a table. Brown rice does not interest me. Steamed vegetables do not interest me. Please note that so picky am I that I eat no dairy products or eggs.
