Okay, so this is an old favorite of mine, I go there every time I'm in DC, last time I went was about 2 months ago in October of 2000. Basically it's a Kebab house, thier nan is out of this world. I've linked areview below, but I think that the review is incorrect in that in the 8 years I've frequented this place (off and on, I haven't lived in dc for 5 years, so I only get to it on visits about 2 or 3 times a year). I've found the food to be very consistant.
I really enjoy thier Beef Kebab, it comes with a green sauce that is to die for. I don't really feel qualified yet to "Review" a restaurant, but I think if someone is looking for a place to eat in DC, this is a good place to try out. It's convieniently located across the street from the ballston metro station on the orange line. Just go to the top of the escalator, turn around and cross the street, then enter next to the cleaners in back, although they have remodeled a bit , so you can enter from the front of the street too.
Also, order thier Samosa. (save the green sauce and use on the kebab!). If you there post here what you think.
