Good news, South Shore Turkish

Last night four of us went to a new Turkish restaurant in BALDWIN L.I. ,believe it or not. The name is Aquarium . It was a breath of fresh air. Friendly attitude, nice service and very good food at a more than fair price. The weekday dinner special consists of four appetizers Babaganoush, Stuffed Grape Leaves ,Tabouli ,Hummus plus a tossed salad sufficient for four. Then there was the main dish choice of several Kabobs of Chicken or Lamb or a Spicy Chopped meat. They also served those phyllo wrapped cheese things that are deep fried, whose name escapes me.Everything was well prepared and delicious .Dessert was included , Turkish custard etc. A complimentary glass of red or white wine included cost $12.95 per person. The place is small and neat . This the type of place that deserves patronage. It is something that exists in the outer boroughs but is rare on Long Island.
