Creole Country Sausage is back up and running (for 1 week now!) and are happy to do retail. On Monday they had smoked sausage, andouille, green onion/crayfish (sic), smoked chaurice, and green onion. They have done a powerful job of putting themselves back together
(bless concrete block buildings)and are back to meeting their wholesale clients' needs; yet they manage to be welcoming and hospitable to all comers. This is top-of-the-line chow - the TSA screener asked if he could remove "just one or two pounds" (from my 25#) to assure the safety of my fellow fliers...
They're located @ 512 David St.(488-1263). What a treat it was to turn onto David and smell the evidence of their resurrection. Support good chow.
