Good Mexican Beef Soup?

Dave Westerberg | Mar 27, 2008 07:19 AM

I really like the Mexican beef soup--usually a big bowl of broth, a chunk of beef, cooked with corn on the cob, root vegetables and cabbage. I had a very good one last week at

Taqueria El Rancho Grande
911 W Anderson Ln # 120
Austin, TX 78757
(512) 458-5454‎

They used shank beef on the bone (so tender I cut it with my spoon) and the corn was young and tender, the root veggies were cooked perfectly, and it was served with 4 tortilas. Anyone have a recommendation for another great bowl?
Thanks.
Dave
