Good food & atmosphere for b'day party Fri - SFV or Burbank

Hey everyone!

This is my first time posting to the Chowhound boards, but I've been a longtime reader, and you all have never steered me wrong. I'm hoping you could help me out!

I'm turning 27 this Friday, and all my friends have been asking me where we're going for dinner, and I haven't been able to come up with a place yet.

I need a restaurant with the following qualifications:
1.) In Burbank, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, or the surrounding area.

2.) People must be able to eat there for $20 a head or less. (We're in law school. I can afford more b/c it's my birthday, but most people won't be able to afford more than that.)

3.) The food has to be delicious! I'm a big fan of sushi, fondue (mostly b/c you can talk with friends), good chinese (which I'm having a hard time finding out here in Burbank) -- Just something out of the ordinary (no burger/sandwich/bistro kinda joints)

4.) If I can call in a reservation, that would be awesome - but it's not a requirement. I'll call wherever we choose anyway.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh, and if you feel like answering 1 more question: Does anyone know where a girl can get some Hu Tieu (the real stuff - with pork broth) around here? It's my favorite Vietnamese soup, and since Indochine in Pasadena stopped serving it, I haven't been able to find it anywhere!

Thanks!
