I'm new to the Cambridge/Boston area and have browsed around on the boards quite a bit (and found some GREAT recommendations). Now my parents are coming to visit, and I need to find some places to eat that will suit my dad's boring tastes.
He prefers plain food, but my mom and I both enjoy food that's more adventurous. When I say plain food... I mean things like grilled chicken breast, grilled fish, steak, all without any sauce and without any ethnicity but American (or if he's feeling adventurous, he MIGHT try Americanized versions of ethic food).
I'm looking for good places in the Harvard/Porter Square area that will satisfy all of us -- most importantly, my dad's plain taste -- with entrees under about $25, preferably less. A good place for dinner and a good weekend brunch place would be helpful.
I appreciate any recommendations you can offer!
