Gonzalez Taqueria, Redwood City

Following up on a fairly recent posting on this board, we gathered up some friends for dinner at the Gonzalez Taqueria in the Fair Oaks area of Redwood City. It was well worth the trip. We had a variety of entrees, including the goal Birria and several seafood dishes and soups, and they were all excellent.

Most notable was the guacamole, clearly made on the spot and flavored with fresh lime, and the tortillas, which kept comoing, and were also made right then and there, really hot, fresh and delicious. I think it was the owners who served us, and we were treated like guests whose hosts were happy to see us.

It's not the most visible place in the bustling Fair Oaks shopping district, but if it's not the best, I'd be happy to try the others.
